Fondoo vs Polsia: two ways to let AI run a business

Polsia and Fondoo both let AI do the work of running a business online. They take very different approaches. Here's an honest look at both, with sources.

TL;DR

  • Polsia sells the AI labor: its own agents plan, build, market and operate a company for you, on a subscription plus task credits and a fee on revenue (pricing has changed several times in 2026; details below, with sources).
  • Fondoo sells the business tools: site, payments, SEO, social, email, support and analytics, all controllable by the agent you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and others).
  • Fondoo is $24/site/month with a 1% checkout fee and no revenue share. The core is open source (AGPL) and free to self-host.
  • Pick Polsia if you want an AI to do the work without bringing your own. Pick Fondoo if you want your own agent in charge, with approvals and no lock-in.

Disclosure: this is the Fondoo blog, so read it with that in mind. We've tried to describe Polsia from its own words and from public reporting, and we link every source. Polsia's pricing has changed often, so check polsia.com for current terms before deciding.

What Polsia is

Polsia describes itself as "AI that runs your company while you sleep." Its Product Hunt listing says it "autonomously runs companies. Planning, coding, marketing, and operations. Every Day, no employees." (Product Hunt)

The model, as described by its founder and by reviewers: each night Polsia's agents work on your company, and you can buy extra on-demand tasks with credits. The founder has said on Product Hunt that "you own 100% of everything Polsia builds for you."

Polsia has been reported to have raised $30M at a $250M valuation, with the founder announcing it was approaching $10M in annual recurring revenue (Enterprise DNA, August 2026). By any measure, it has found real demand.

Polsia's pricing (reported)

Polsia's pricing has moved several times. What's been reported publicly:

  • June 2026, from the founder on Product Hunt: $49/month for "30 days of full autonomy," one autonomous task per night plus 5 on-demand credits a month, and a 20% share of revenue that "only kicks in when your business actually makes money through Stripe Connect." (Product Hunt)
  • September 2026, reported by Carly (a company that sells a competing product, so weigh it accordingly): $20/month per company with 30 nightly tasks, task-credit packs from $19 to $999 a month, a 3% fee on customer payments plus Stripe fees, and a 20% fee on ad spend. The same article reports a 3.5/5 Trustpilot rating across 267 reviews as of September 30, 2026. (Carly, Sept 30, 2026)

We haven't verified these numbers inside Polsia's product. Treat them as reported, not confirmed.

What Fondoo is

Fondoo is a set of business tools built for AI agents to operate:

  • website and blog hosting, custom domains, forms;
  • Stripe checkout with subscriptions, one-time purchases, downloads and license keys;
  • technical SEO autopilot and Search Console;
  • posting to 21 social networks, plus Reddit drafts;
  • app emails and newsletters;
  • support tickets and a help center;
  • cookie-free analytics with revenue attribution.

Everything is available over one MCP connection and a REST API. Every action you can take in the dashboard, an agent can take too. Fondoo doesn't sell AI: you bring your own agent, and the content it writes is unlimited. Here's why we chose that.

The real difference: who's in charge

Polsia: hire an AI operator

Polsia's pitch is that you don't need to direct the work. That's a real advantage if you don't have an agent you like, don't want to write prompts, or just want something running by morning. Polsia's agents decide the tasks.

The tradeoff is that you're tied to Polsia's AI, its task-credit economy and its cut of revenue. Reviews are mixed; the most common complaint Carly reports is tasks marked complete when they aren't. That's a hard problem for any autonomous agent, us included.

Fondoo: give your agent a business

Fondoo assumes you already use an agent, or will. You stay the operator, or you let your agent run on a schedule, and Fondoo provides the tools plus the guardrails:

  • Approvals for anything that deletes, spends or emails a list.
  • Spending caps only a human can set.
  • No money movement: agents can't refund, pay out or transfer.
  • Dry runs on every write, and a full audit log.

Because you bring the agent, you can switch models whenever a better one ships, and you aren't paying us for tokens. The tradeoff: you need to bring that agent, and nothing happens unless you or your agent asks for it (or you set up automations and schedules).

Fees at a glance

Fondoo's fee is 1% of payments taken through Fondoo checkout, on top of Stripe's processing fee, plus the $24/site plan. There's no revenue share. If you connect your own Stripe account directly, checkout runs on your account; see /pricing for the current fee table.

Polsia's reported fees, as listed above, are higher on revenue and lower on the base subscription. Which costs less depends on your revenue. If you make very little, a lower subscription may matter more. If you make more, the percentage dominates.

Which should you pick?

Choose Polsia if:

  • you want an AI to come up with and do the tasks;
  • you don't have, or don't want to manage, your own agent;
  • a fee on revenue is acceptable in exchange for not managing the work.

Choose Fondoo if:

  • you already use Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor and want it running your business tools;
  • you want to own the code path (self-host free) and keep switching costs low;
  • you want approvals, spending caps and no-money-movement rules built in;
  • you have an existing site or app you want to grow, not replace.

FAQ

Is Fondoo an autonomous AI company like Polsia?

No. Fondoo is the toolset your own agent uses. It doesn't include its own AI operator. You can run your agent on a schedule, but the agent is yours.

Does Fondoo take a share of my revenue?

No. There's a 1% checkout fee on payments through Fondoo checkout and the $24/site/month plan. See /pricing.

Can I use Fondoo with an app Polsia built?

If you have access to the site or app and its domain, you can connect it to Fondoo like any existing site. We haven't tested this with a Polsia-built company specifically.

Where did the Polsia numbers come from?

From Polsia's founder on Product Hunt, Enterprise DNA's August 2026 report and a September 2026 pricing review by Carly. Links are in the text. Pricing may have changed since.
